The BLM Project
As Black Lives Matter grew and became arguably the biggest civil rights movement in American history, both my friend and I wanted to contribute to the cause. We signed petitions and donated, but searched for a more creative way to help out.
This creative project was a manner for us to use our creative abilities to fundraise for the movement. The past few months, my good friend Rohan has been working on the lettering for the back of the shirt, while I’ve been illustrating the front. Today, we are releasing our creations.
Our merchandise is available on Etsy at the ROHANxROHAN shop. All profits will be donated to the "My Block - My Hood - My City (formyblock.org)" charity in support of the black community.
This has been a gruelling project with the designing, publishing, film shoots, video editing, and whatnot. The creative programs we used in this project are: Procreate, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
